Seton Helping Saints Walk
By Olivia Wall
On Wednesday, August 21 Seton’s Seton Helping Saints club held its Walk Kick-Off, which
normally consists of skits presented by the student council of every grade. However, this year Seton
Helping Saints added something of their own.
The goal of this activity according to Seton Helping Saints president Allie Luebbering was to “show people just how many students are affected by the club”. As the club read off statistics having to do with the poverty levels within the Seton community, they also had students from each section stand until eventually all the statistics were read and all the students
were standing. The visual component of the activity had a profound effect on all students when they realized Seton Helping Saints assists everyone in the entire school.
Overall, students enjoyed the activity and their excitement for the walk grew.
