Volleyball played against Saint Ursuline for the second time on Tuesday, September 24. The freshman team won their first match, but then lost the next two. JV and varsity lost all three games. On Thursday, September 26, freshman, JV, and varsity matched up against Ursula, starting at 4:30, at Ursula. All teams lost their games. Good luck next time Saints.
Varsity player, junior Leigha Kraemer, has a positive outlook and high expectations for the team. Kraemer states, “Our team is definitely improving but we can’t fall back into a slump like we did in the beginning of the season. We are working hard and we are determined to succeed in the rest of the season and beat Mercy on our senior night! Go Saints!” Hopefully, Kraemer and the team’s hard work will pay off and they will succeed their goal of beating Mercy again.
The Saints play again on Saturday, September 28, against Beavercreek High School and Mason. The games begin at 10:00 a.m. at Mason.
