Each Tuesday, throughout the month of October, students are now permitted to purchase a pancake breakfast. The sale runs from 7:15 to 7:45 a.m. down stairs in the Saints Café. Along with two pancakes, students also have their own choice of toppings and a carton of milk for the price of two dollars. Senior Kaitlyn Lally attended the breakfast. She said, “The pancakes were great! They had all kinds of toppings like strawberries, blueberries, and cinnamon.”
With each purchase of the pancake breakfast, the lunch ladies (AVI Food Systems), will be donating twenty-five cents to the Seton Helping Saints Club. Tuesday, they received $6.50 in donations towards the club. Students will also be entered to win a ten dollar gift certificate to Skyline or Chipotle at the end of the month of October.
Jenny Turnbull, AVI manager, said, “The turnout Tuesday was decent, but we would like to see more. If more people come, we would like to continue the breakfast beyond October.” So if you are tired of not eating a full breakfast before school, stop by the café to get your filling in!
