The Seton JV golf team had a tough match against Mercy on Monday, September 30.  The team score was 222-205. Sophomore, Mackenzie Depenbrock, lead the team with a shot of 50. Following close behind her lead, Allie Schmitt, shot a 53. Freshman, Haley Walter, was two strokes behind Schmitt with a 55. The golf team lost again against Saint Ursula on Tuesday, October 1. The final team score was 227-207. It was challenging night for everyone, but freshman, Isabella Olthaus, had a standout match with the lowest score of 54. The Saints hope to compete well in the GGCL tournament on Saturday, October 5.

Senior, Corrine Deutenberg, earned first individual in sectionals. If she does well she has the chance to become district golf champion. She competes on the tenth of October at Weatherwax golf course. Deutenberg, says she’s really excited for districts and is going to try her best to move on to state.
