Jessica Frey: Larosa’s MVP of the Week

Senior soccer forward Jessica Frey is being nominated for Larosa’s MVP of the Week. Frey is ranked number one in the GGCL and has had a great soccer season so far. In her first ten games, Frey has earned 37 points with 16 goals and 5 assists in the last sixteen games. She has a very promising future ahead of her. She has verbally committed to play soccer at Northern Kentucky University in the fall of 2014 and will sign with them in February.
Frey has been on the varsity soccer team for four years and believes that those four years have been the best of her life. She said, “I have been surrounded by the best people. I absolutely love my team and love how well we work together on the field. I will never forget all of the memories I have made here at Seton out on the soccer field and the people I have met. These four years playing varsity have been the best years of my life.”
Frey will continue to play club soccer for Tri-State Futbol Alliance (TFA) in the spring of 2014. She also plans to join the Seton Track and Field Team in the spring as well. After graduation, she will start training for NKU Soccer in the summer.
Frey is not only an all-star athlete but she is an academic scholar, maintaining a 3.9 GPA and making honor roll every quarter. She is a member of the National Honor Society and is a student ambassador, showing great character, scholarship, service while representing Seton High School in a positive way. “I don’t know where I would be without my parents,” Frey said, “They have supported me through thirteen years and counting with soccer and with school. They are always there for me pushing me to be the best I can athlete and student I can be.”
In the month of September, Frey was also nominated Student Athlete of the Month.
