Beginning of the End
By Molly Kraisinger
Well it’s that time of year for seniors to start planning details for graduation in May of 2014. On Wednesday, November 13 seniors reported to the auditorium for information on caps and gowns. Some students found this as a bit of a shock to start thinking about the end of their high school career so soon. Senior Christa Woelfell said, “It feels like we’re still freshman.” At the beginning of the assembly everyone was handed a packet, including information to buy class rings, emblems, announcements, and other items to remind students of their high school days. Also inside of the packet was an order form seniors were to fill out. Everyone measured their head size for their caps along with writing down their height for their gowns. Some students were worried that by not factoring in the height of their heels, their gown size would be off. The representative leading the assembly said that there is always a little give room, and that if you are unhappy with the length of the gown you may always exchange it. It may seem early to start planning graduation, but it will be here before we know it.
