Winter is Coming! Buy a Sweatshirt!
By Rachel Richter
With winter fast approaching, it is time to start gearing up for icy breezes, frosty snowfalls, and overall chilly weather. But have no fear! All you have to do is buy a sweatshirt and you will be prepared for any and all types of weather conditions Mother Nature decides to throw at us.
Seton High School’s largest club of over 200 members, the Saints for Life club, is ordering white quarter zip sweatshirts. Because the Saints for Life club is a pro-life club, the sweatshirts feature various pro-life aspects such as baby feet and the popular quote by Dr. Seuss, “A person’s a person no matter how small.”
The sweatshirts will be white in the quarter zip style. They feature bold patterns, intricate designs, and bright colors. The sweatshirt design is extremely unique and unlike any other traditional Seton spirit wear. The unique design has created an overwhelming response in students. Saints for Life club members are excited about wearing these sweatshirts on the upcoming March for Life in January in Washington, D.C. Additionally, there is even a great deal of students outside of the club who are interested in these sweatshirts. In fact, about 130 students who are not even in the club plan on buying a sweatshirt anyway because they like the design.
The sweatshirts cost $25 and, because of popular demand, they are open for purchase to anyone in the school. If you want to order a sweatshirt, you must:
- Bring in $25 to Mr. Kovacic’s room (Rm. 132)
- Write down your name and sweatshirt size on the sheet in Mr. Kovacic’s room
It is important that you make sure to write your information down! You can bring in the money to Mr. Kovacic’s room at any time during the day. Keep an eye out for an email from me, Rachel Richter, to find out when the last day to bring your money in is.
