Celebrate Seton Fun

Celebrate Seton is rapidly approaching, it’s almost here. Celebrate Seton is an annual mini festival full of fun, games, dancing, cake and so much more. On Sunday, March 2, this Celebrate Seton will be occurring for the thirty first year. The day will begin at noon. There will be various activities happening in the new gym as well as the multipurpose room. For the new gym, the day will start off with opening pray from Donna Brigger. At 12:15 there will be a fashion show featuring future Seton saints and currents saints modeling Seton spirit wear and a recognition of the class of 2018.

At 1:15 the dance teams will perform after a senior dance member are recognized.  The performance will begin with twinkle green and white teams performing pom followed by youth, junior and varsity team´s jazz routines.

At 2:15 the choral groups will perform in the following order: freshman chorus, vocal ensemble, singing saints and concert choir. Senior Olivia Wall said, “I’m performing in Celebrate Seton singing for the fourth year. It’s bitter sweet; I love performing and am going to miss it so much.”

The dance teams will perform again at 3:30 pm. Twinkle grey will start with pom, young prep will perform jazz, and youth, junior, and varsity will end with their pom routines.  This will be the dance teams last performance of the the year..

While all of that action is occurring in the new gym, there will be many booths and games open especially geared towards the younger and future saints in the multipurpose room. Some of the activities include the cake booth, cookies, corn hole, face painting and many more games. Most of these games will be about a $1 to play. Also the spirit shop will be open all day for spirit wear purchases. Celebrate Seton itself is free to get in. If anyone did not purchase a celebrate Seton t-shirt, they will be $10 at the mini festival, but supplies are limited. Food such as hamburgers pop, water and cotton candy will all be for sale.  Prices range from one dollar to three dollars depending on the item.

Celebrate Seton is a family event. Everyone should come on out to Seton Sunday for a lot of entertainment and be sure to bring along family along too, it will be a joy for all ages.
