Seton is holding its 18th annual Setonsation fundraiser to welcome spring and raise $190,00 for tuition assistance. It will be held on this Saturday, March 29 in Seton’s new gym and commons. “A Garden Party… Planting the Seeds to Our Future” is the theme of the event. There will be a sit down dinner with drinks, auctions, games, and prizes. This year the Grand Prize is $5,000 cash. The Main Prize is $1,000 cash. Two new games were added to change it up a bit, called theSecret Garden and Golden Ticket. Silent auction will be held at the beginning, consisting of hundreds carrying items to name a few, gift certificates, gardening tools, and the class pillows and blankets. The oral auction will start later and include a variety of choices, such as Cincinnati Police Chief of the day, vacation houses in Hawaii, Hilton Head, and Florida, Great American Ball Park suite, and plenty more. Of course Seton always has the puppy, and this year sophomore Mackenzie Dugan and her family have been hosting the black and white Maltipoo that will be up for auction.

The proceeds from Setonsation will go directly to the tuition assistance program. “Supporting Setonsation directly impacts so many young women throughout the Seton community. Knowing this makes a fun and exciting evening also very rewarding,” said Noelle Schwartz. The fundraiser helps make an affordable Catholic education. Many Seton supporters attend Setonsation and make it a wonderful and successful night full of fun.
