Softball is playing hard with a game every day this week. On Monday, March 31, they played St. Henry at home and won 7-4. Senior Chelsea Zang had an impressive game with 12 strike outs. Zang said, “I think we are going to have a really good season and I can’t wait for the success in the future!”

Tuesday, April 1, the team played Princeton at home. Seton won 10-0. It was a great game for Seton. There were many nice hits and plays according to senior Alyssa Lyons. For an out at first base, freshman Jordyn Gilday flipped it to freshman Kristina Dean. Junior Lindsey Hubbard had a good game at bat, placing the ball behind second base.

Due to excessive rain the game Wednesday, April 2, was cancelled. It was supposed to be played away at St. James field against McCauley. As of now it is unsure when the game will be rescheduled. The following games this week on Thursday and Friday will most likely be cancelled because of the forecasting. On Saturday the game will hopefully be played.
