Seton High School’s anime club has been having fun creating various anime cartoons and comic strips throughout the school year.  Members love adding humor, creativity, and joy to their artwork with hopes that students will be able to relate to the messages they are trying to get across.

In March, sophomore Katie Zimmerman created the anime cartoon featured above.  Her anime consists of a Tumblr post which reads, “It’s at times like these when I like to remember the wise words of Elizabeth Ann Seton: Snow ‘Hazard Yet Forward.’”  She began creating this anime back when the weather was still pretty bad in Cincinnati.  Even in March, we experienced regular snow storms and weather fluctuations.  Her cartoon emphasizes the emotions felt by many students during that time.  She hopes to create more anime comics soon.
