Harvest Home Parade Brings Neighbors Together
Fall is in the air, and one way to welcome the season is the annual Harvest Home Fair in Cheviot. “The Biggest Little Fair in Ohio” was the 155th annual Green Township parade and fair for the city of Cincinnati. Before the parade started, runners gathered for a one mile run through the parade route. Runners as young as seven and as old as seventy five ran the one mile race to kick off the anticipated Harvest Home parade. Leading the parade was the Elder Marching band and color guard. Following was Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office, the city of Cheviot and the men and women whom serve the county. Local dance teams were also featured in this parade showcasing their dance routines. Local high schools and grade schools showed their school spirit. Clowns, small businesses, and representatives in Congress were also in the parade. Crowds filled the street and families gathered to spend quality time together. The Harvest Home Parade was a success this year!
