Blindspot

Blindspot

By Erica Bock

The sky so black tonight

No stars shining up high

They close their eyes and sleep

From an aching city

Suffering from entropy

What is that blindspot I’ll never know?

I breath it in and can’t let it go

I wanna know that vital key yeah

It’s not enough to just be me

My eyes burn red with sight

Not letting go tonight

My deep longing survives

Not putting up a fight

Resting my closed eyes

What is that blindspot I’ll never know?

I breath it in and can’t let it go

I wanna know that vital key yeah

It’s not enough to just be me
