Sophomore, Karissa Fleek says, “I enjoy going to parks in the Summer, especially Smale Riverfront park after a Reds game. The night time life is so pretty and the park shows the beauty of the city of Cincinnati.” All of these parks are pleasing destinations to stop by this summer.
One final attraction in Cincinnati is Coney Island. Coney Island opened in 1886, making it one of oldest amusement parks in Cincinnati. Senior, Morgan Martin explains, “Coney Island is a place where many families start traditions in the summer. They have been going to Coney for many years, and it is a place to make many amazing memories. There are countless rides, and there also is a waterpark. Coney Island is a really great place overall.” Coney Island also hosts summer activities such as art and film festivals. Coney Island is always an entertaining place to go in the summer.
